Art has been a passion all my life. From painting and drawing as a youth, to studying fine arts as a university student, to settling in with the Potters Guild as an adult. Art has and continues to enrich me. Although my first love is drawing, clay has opened the door to endless expressive possibilities. I enjoy everything from the forming of a piece to experimenting with different decorating techniques, and being able to create functional pieces that also serve as a canvas to the creative process is very exciting. There is still much to learn but the support and inspiration afforded through our guild is amazing.
